Curriculum Publishers Assure Great Teacher Communication Through Direct Engagement and Distribution

(Chicago, IL December 10, 2007) Concluding a successful three-year distribution agreement with Pearson Scott Foresman, Chicago Educational Publishing (CEP) announced today that it would resume distribution of the company's flagship K-5 science curriculum, Science Companion.

Rita Ferrandino, Chicago Educational Publishing CEO stated, "Pearson Scott Foresman's great sales force helped us to spread the reach of Science Companion to thousands of classrooms around the country."

"As we move forward, however, leadership at both companies felt that Science Companion users would be best served by CEP managing distribution. One of the great strengths of the curriculum is its flexibility in the classroom. Educators will now be able to easily consult directly with CEP leadership and authors about how best to take advantage of the curriculum in their schools."
